MEN'S MINISTRY

Our Men's Ministry is a ministry dedicated for the fellowship of men. We truly believe that iron sharpens iron and that gathering to share life is a vital component for a man's gowing faith. Meet us for dinner and come see what it is all about!

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Our Women's Ministry is a group of ladies who meet together and have open discussion about Jesus and the Word and life in general. Join us and be encouraged! Feel free to contact us with any questions or to learn about the current book study!

FIRST MONDAY OF THE MONTH

TIME: 7:00 PM

LOCATION: VARIES

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY

Our young adult ministry is an initmate gathering for those who have graduated high school, in college, or just beginning the journey of adulthood. This group discusses the challenges of preparing for a lifetime of choices and the joy of following Jesus through it all. Join in fellowship with people your age and dive into the Word together.

LOCATION: FIRST WESLEYAN CHURCH COMMUNITY ROOM

CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRIES

At First Welseyan Church, kids and youth are celebrated and invited to join in the faith journey! We offer activites during Sunday and Wednesday services, where we learn about the life of Jesus and the Bible while often digging into some exciting games and arts & crafts. We also offer special events, especially for the youth, so stay tuned!

OTHER WAYS TO GET INVOLVED!

We offer numerous opportunities to get invloved at First Wesleyan Church. From summer picnics to movie nights to church potlucks, we have a wonderful community and look for ways to share life with one another. We seek to serve the Roanoke Valley and partner with various ministires in the area. We also have a sister church in Honduras and help to suppor them in the unified mission to share the love of Jesus throughout the world.

JOIN OUR LEADERSHIP OR OUTREACH TEAMS!

We currently have a staff of amazing leaders; however, we are always looking to have leaders and volunteers join the church. If you have a heart to serve and want the chance to give back, there is always an opportunity available! Talk with any of our staff to learn more about our leadership and outreach teams and their current projects or past work!

Outreach Team - To actively seek to draw new families to FWC and find ways to support and connect with families of the daycare. This team also provides opportunities to involve the FWC people with local and global missions.
Hospitality Team - Promote fellowship within the body of Christ by providing times of celebration where members can interact.
Event Team - Provide a fun and interactive atmosphere through activities and events to build the FWC community.
Pastoral Team - Assist the pastor with outreach to members within the FWC body. Provide support to FWC members in times of crisis.
